Artist Help:ShowCAD USB-DMX

These are our recommended USB to DMX interfaces. They provide an electrically isolated DMX connection to your computer hardware. These interfaces appear under this tree branch automatically when they are plugged in. Each interface is identified by a unique serial number. This ensures that the interface is enumerated correctly at switch on.

When the workspace is saved the serial number of the interface is also saved.

If for any reason you have to change your USB-DMX interface the new interface will appear as a separate interface and the old one will still be in the tree but will be displayed with a red asterisk indicating that the interface is not found. You will also have to connect your Input Output Patch/ DMX Outputs to the new interface.

You can delete the old interface from the tree if you wish.
