Artist Help:Global Control

From ShowCAD Wiki

This window provides Master fade, rate and blackout functions.

Global Functions
Master this controls the level of intensity parameters in all cue lists. Cue lists defined as Non-Blackout and all non-intensity parameters are unaffected. The fader will optionally snap back to maximum if a cue in a cue list that is not marked as non-blackout is activated. See Control to change this behaviour.
Rate this is a proportional control of the rates in your programmed cues. Global control of a cue list's rates are optional as select in the Cue List properties.
Blackout sets the Master fader to zero. A subsequent 'Black' will restore the Master fader to its maximum level. By default activating a cue in a cue list that is not marked as non-blackout, will restore blackout. See Control to change this behaviour.
Fade fades the Master fader to zero. A subsequent 'Fade' will fade the Master fader to its maximum level. The rate is set in the cue control properties.
Normal Normalises the global rate control.
