Artist Help:Fader Cues

From ShowCAD Wiki

Fader Cue Lists provide fader only control for a list of cues for use in house/environment lighting control and are best used with a Fader Panel in the Operator Panel. The Operator Panel can be local or installed on a remote system such as a tablet or PC.

The Operator panel allows for manual control of the Cue levels and through the cues the levels of fixtures.

The Fader Cue List can be bound to another Cue List to act as a list of preset levels. When a Preset Cue is activated it fades the Fader positions to the new value contained within.

This ensures that the Faders displayed in Operator panel always reflect the actual level of the Cues. The fade rate is that of the Fade in rate in the Cue control panel.

Each cue in the list would be a group of fixtures within the environment for which you want a fader assigned - this could be a single fixture.

To use this feature the Cue List Action should be set to Faders. The list will show the cues as always active and the cue level can be controlled using the Fader Panel in the Operator GUI.

You can also use the Linear Control/Set Level System Command to change the cue level from another cue. The cue level will fade to the new level.
