The Cues in a Priority Cue List gain exclusive control of the outputs within the Cue. The outputs from other Cues accessing the same Parameters, Chases, Effects and Scenes are blocked until the Priority Cue is deactivated. In this way, the operator can override control of a group of lights when needed without disrupting the main lighting programs.

Priority Cue types
Cue Content Description
Simple Cue a simple cue contains only Fixture Parameter outputs and these override any other Cues using those Parameters
Cue with a Chase since a Chase sequences the Fixture Parameters within a Fixture Group all the Fixture Parameters are overridden.
Cue with a Effect since an Effect accesses all the Fixture Parameters in a Fixture Group, all are overriden
Cue with a Scene Group the Scene Group is much like the Simple Cue, it overrides all the Parameters contained within.
Cue with a Sequence because a Scene Sequence contains Steps, each Step is iterated and overrides all the Fixture Parameters that the Steps access.
