Variables[edit]
You can view the system Variables in Navigator/System Control. Right-click on any of the types Binary, Decimal or Colour and select Properties. This will display a window that allows you to look at the current values of the variables. You can use this window to manually change these values for test purposes.
Variables can be set via system commands. Variables types are as follows,
Binary[edit]
These are simple on/off values and can be used to step through chases and sequences, control chase directions and control optional sequence steps.
Use the Set Binary Variable System Command to control the state of the variable.
Decimal[edit]
These are numeric values that can be used in Effects for control property values. They have a range of 0.000 to 1.000
Use the Set Analog Variable System Command to control the variable value.
Colour[edit]
These are RGB color values that cab be used in Effect for control colour values. These can also be used as values for Fixture parameters in Cues.
Use the Set Colour Variable System Command to control the variable colour value
