Get control of your fixtures and check they are connected and defined correctly. See Fixture Control, Chase and Effects control.


Enter the Venue name
You now have a new Workspace ready to be programmed.
 
Click Next
 
Use the default Templates
 
Set the number of universes you are going to use. You can add more at any later time.
 
Click Next and review the summary.

The workspace is a collection of files that contain all the program information for the show you are about to create. It also saves the Interface Manager and Input Output Patch. Four main files make up the workspace. They are,

Core Files
File Description File Extension
Workspace Contains reference to the other workspace files and information about the user interface setup .wsp
Fixtures Contain the definition of all your fixtures, Interface Manager and Input Output Patch .fix
Scenes Contain all your programmed Scenes .scn
Cue Lists Contains all your programmed show Cues .clt

Start a new Workspace[edit]

  • Start the Workspace wizard from the Main Menu/Wizards/Workspace. See Workspace Wizard.
  • Use the default directory
  • Enter a name for your Workspace
  • Enter your name as the Programmer
  • Enter the Venue name
  • Click Next
  • Use the default Profiles
  • Set the number of universes you are going to use. You can add more at any later time.
  • Click Next and review the summary.
  • Click End.
