Log Files by Mick Martin | Feb 26, 2012 | Knowledge Base Artist Log File The Artist log file contains details of the software start up procedure that can be useful in troubleshoot issues with the computer hardware and source files. In any toubleshooting report to ShowCAD this file is often requested. You can find the file in Libraries/Documents/Public Documents and the file name is your user name with _Artist3.log appended. This log is always active and cannot be disabled. Activity Log This file details cues that have been activated or deactivated and any real time events that occur. This can be useful is tracing real time or scheduler events and any assosiated issues. It can also be useful to view user activity or un expected user access. You can find the file in Libraries/Documents/Public Documents and the file name is your user name with _Artist3_Activity.log appended. By default this log is not created. Open Main Menu/Tools/Preferences/File Saving and check ‘Enable Activity Log‘. Chronometer Log This file track the appication software runtime and total cue runtime. This is useful in determining the software useage and any lamp lifetime details. By default this log is not created. Open Main Menu/Tools/Preferences/File Saving and check ‘Enable Chronometer’.
