Editing Artist Help:Pixel Array Tools

This dialog is used to size and align Pixel Array fixtures on the effect Canvas. It is opened automatically when ever new pixel array fixtures are installed. It can also be opened from ''Main Menu/Tools/Pixel Array Tools''.

The functions of this dialog only apply to selected fixtures. When it is open during installing fixtures all the fixtures are automatically selected.

This dialog is non-modal which allows you to access other windows while it is still open.

=== Fixture Alignment ===
This function will align fixtures in rectangular array with the top left corner of the array at the point defined in the Alignment Position box.

| Padding X || set the padding between fixtures in the horizontal direction

| Align || click to align the selected fixtures in the array defined by the above settings and at the position indicated in the Alignment Position.

=== Alignment Position ===
This box displays the position where the array defined in the Alignment box will be placed. The values are set when you select fixtures in the Fixture View. The position of the first fixture is used to define this value.

Use the Capture button to define another position by moving the mouse over the Fixture View and clicking at the appropriate point. This will define a new point for the array placement.

=== Pixel Size ===
This function dynamically adjusts the size of the selected Pixel Array pixels.

| Size X || this control adjusts the pixels' X dimension. If the Lock Aspect box is checked this will also proportionally adjust the pixels' Y dimension.

| Size Y || this control adjusts the pixels' Y dimension independently if the Lock Aspect box is unchecked.

| Lock Aspect || if checked the X and Y dimensions of the pixel are adjusted proportionally simultaneously.

=== Selecting Fixtures ===
This dialog is non-modal allowing fixtures to be selected in the Fixture View even when this dialog is open. 

* make sure the Position Lock box in the Fixture View tool bar is unchecked 
* select the fixtures you wish to size or align 
* adjust the size or align functions as required
