Editing Artist Help:Patching MIDI

You add MIDI inputs or outputs here. System commands are patched to these MIDI inputs/outputs which can be considered as place holders. In turn these place holders contain information about the actual physical MIDID devices to be connected to. These are listed in the Interface Manager.

=== Adding MIDI input or outputs ===

The Resources/Input Output Patch allows you to add MIDI input or outputs. Right-click on either the MIDI Out or MIDI in icons and select Properties, set the number of inputs or ouptuts you want to add and then click OK.

=== Connecting ===

If a MIDI input/output is not connected to an Interface is has a red asterisk overlay on the icon. To connect it to an Interface,

right-click on the MIDI input or output and select Properties.

Click OK 
This method also allows you to easily change the actual MIDI device that the input or output is attached to.
