This example workspace explains the setting up of a house lighting workspace using the Faders action selected in cue list properties. It uses the custom Operator Panel locally but it could be installed remotely. There are only 2 Cue Lists in this workspace and they are bound together. === Fader Cues === The Fader Cues list is a list of cues that simply contain the fixtures you wish to group under control of a fader. In this example you can see that there are 8 restaurant tables group and various other seperately controlled areas in the venue. All these areas are controlled by the faders displayed on the Operator Panel. You can see that using the faders changes the level of the controlled group of fixtures. This cue list is set to Faders mode which means that all the cues are permanently active and under fadr control only. This list is bound to Preset Cues cue list. You can see this in the cue list properties. === Preset Cues === The Preset Cues list is used to provide level settings for the Faders Cues list. This arrangement allows for the faders in Operator Panel to be automated in response to preset selection. This provides seamless manual control of a fader from the levels set by the selected presets. === Operator Panel === The Operator Panel has 2 panels - the House Lights (fader panel) and Presets (button panel). The House Lights fader panel also has 3 function buttons as follows: {| class="wikitable" |+ Caption text |- | Restore || this restores the fader levels to the list default values |- | Set Defaults|| this set the list default levels to the current levels of the cues in the list. |- | Store Preset|| this sets the levels in the active preset in the Preset Cues list to the current levels of the cues in the House Lights list. |} Try using the touch screen faders to control the levels of the fixtures Now click the Cleaners preset. Notice the faders moving to the preset defined levels at a rate defined by each Fader cue's fade in time. Now try adjusting any of the House Light faders again. Press the Store Preset function. This will store the current values to the active preset i.e. the Cleaners preset. Press the Off preset to zero all the faders. Now press the Cleaners preset again and notice that the levels reflect those you store in the previous step.
